The number of vista users

According to Net Applications (http://marketshare.hitslink.com/report.aspx?qprid=5), market share firm specialized in browsers, operating systems and search engines, Windows Vista continued steady growth in June and accounted for 4.52% of all systems that browsed the Web. At the same time, number of Apple Mac OS users declined from 6.46% in May to 6.22% in June. Such results could be explained by the fact that fewer Mac users are browsing the Web (unlikely), enjoying one-month summer holidays while taking the photos and listening to the music (Apple-style) or by the fact that delay of Leopard's release affected Apple more than they could anticipate.

Who needs Windows vista ?

By the release of the much awaited operating system....... the whole world started thinking about upgrading to vista.

The reasons can be

1. new look
2. much more features compared to previous versions

But many have started saying ""Why do i need windows vista ? ""

Personal computer industry

hi to all ,

I think the word personal computer or the technology "personal computer" came from Apple Inc.

>>>>They were the first to introduce a so called personal computer(APPLE I) before Microsoft.

>>>>They were the originators of the so called an operating system.( Mac os)

But the leading player now in personal computer industry is Microsoft and not Apple Inc.

the reasons i think are :

1. The cost of an Apple personal computer is high compared to Microsoft's product
2. Most of the courses in computer science are taken through some software of Microsoft...so people feel somewhat comfortable about using windows though Macos has great features than windows.
